Hello my name is Jordan Johnson. I am a 17 year old junior at Ben.C.Rain High school. I have many interests and hobbies. Two of my favorite things to do are dancing and helping others. My favorite subject in school is history. I take honors and some applications classes. I took chemistry ap first semester. I am the oldest out of me and my sister by 13 years. My academic goals are to get A-B honor roll, be on time, and to help others who also helps me. I want to also take all ap classes next year. In the fall of 2018 I want to attend the university of mobile and major in early childhood education with a bachelor degree. King's vision of the American dream has not been achieved. Today we still have racism. Some people feel that everyone should not be equal. Some police officers are taking their job as a dictator who can get away with anything. Not everyone is being treated equal. The system is made up of mainly African Americans. Martin Luther King Jr vision consist of Caucasian and African Americans to get along with each other. We all bleed the same blood. No one is the same we are all different someway. African American try to blame a lot of there mistakes on the Caucasian. They are killinng us but we are also killing ourselves. If we unite we can be the united states of america that we never would have believe that we can be.Hope we all have a great year
Great commentary on Dr. King's speech! I love that you are going into Early Childhood Education; it is a very rewarding career!
